Discus and support DVD player no longer present after upgrade from vista to windows 10 in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; After installing windows 10 my built-in DVD player/burner is not present in the hardware list.     DVD player no longer present after upgrade from vista to windows 10


    After installing windows 10 my built-in DVD player/burner is not present in the hardware list. Does not open, seems unexisting. Even the forced opening with a pen in the little hole does not work. Looks complete powerless. I followed several possible solutions but nothing works, the device remains dead, not existing.

    • What is the exact issue are you facing?

    Will the DVD Maker & DVD Player be included Windows 10

    I have recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 and was disappointed to find the DVD Maker and DVD Player are no longer included as I used them a lot in my

    old machine with Windows Movie Maker.

    Will the DVD Maker & DVD Player be included Windows 10?

    If not, any suggestions as to the best DVD Maker & Player to obtain that will work with Movie Maker.

    I have a DVD player installed. When I upgraded to Window 10 the DVD player will no longer open. Any help is greatly appreciated.
