    HELP!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!

    Hi. I just recently can't sign in using Windows Hello PIN and cannot find out why.

    It says "something went wrong, try again later."

    And the option is greyed out to add.

    This first started when i tried to log in one day and it requested i change my pin because my "organization" requested that i do. SO, i skipped it and went to sign in with my regular password and got in. Upon attempting to put the pin back on for sign-in options it said only remove. So, i removed it and when i went to go add it back on, it was greyed out and displayed the "something went wrong" message.

    I have tried adding a registry file to enable PIN login but that did not work. I went to my NGC folder in my Local Services files and it was empty because DUH i removed it earlier.

    HOWEVER, i found a ".dat" file in the local service folder. Upon trying to move it to NGC folder and I can't move it because it is in use. I genuinely don't know what to do. Im upset because i want to do is enable Windows Hello PIN.

    :)

  2. Microsoft Solitaire Collection not working even after resetting Windows.

    Hi,

    As well as the 3 ntuser files listed, there are 5 ntuser.dat(*****).regtrans-ms files and 2 ntuser,dat(*****).blf files.

    Do I copy those as well or unselect them like the 3 you listed?

  3. How do I reset the "Most used" list.

    UserAssist appears to be a binary repository where recently used apps and files are stored but does not contain the settings or list of apps that are shown in the "Most Used" list.

    I just tested a workaround: I created a new user profile and everything worked. This tells me the problem is in the user profile files ntuser.dat and (system.dat?). You could back up your system. Backup ntuser.dat and that other dat file in your user
    profile (uncheck "Hide protected operating system files") in folder options first. create a new profile with admin rights and switch user to access it and then delete or move your dat files. when you log back in your entire profile will be reset to default.
    you could also remove your hard drive and access it from another computer. I'm going to test my theory by booting from BartPE and making the change.

    I just moved the following files to my D: drive:

    SH D:\ntuser - myaccount\NTUSER.DAT

    A SH D:\ntuser - myaccount\ntuser.dat.LOG1

    A SH D:\ntuser - myaccount\ntuser.dat.LOG2

    A SH D:\ntuser - myaccount\NTUSER.DAT{62e13464-7ee5-11e5-80c4-a4badb40df56}.TM.blf

    A SH D:\ntuser - myaccount\NTUSER.DAT{62e13464-7ee5-11e5-80c4-a4badb40df56}.TMContainer00000000000000000001.regtrans-ms

    A SH D:\ntuser - myaccount\NTUSER.DAT{62e13464-7ee5-11e5-80c4-a4badb40df56}.TMContainer00000000000000000002.regtrans-ms

    A SH D:\ntuser - myaccount\ntuser.ini

    Login was like logging in for the first time to windows. Also my tiles were a bit messed up. Got a message that I would have a temporary profile and that all changes would be deleted after I logged off. Every time I start I get that message. Probably
    need to reset / recreate the profile with an ms approved tool or method.

    Disable WebCacheV01.dat

    Hi all, especially Sujay I hope.

    I have just updated Windows 10 to the Aniversary version.
    I have followed all the steps set out by Sujay to eliminate Windows – Continuous Disk Write + WebCacheV01.dat + V01.log – Issue

    I have disabled “CacheTask“. To find this, open Task Scheduler from Administrative Tools, navigate to Microsoft > Windows > Wininet.
    And I have eliminated the GUID
    {3EB3C877-1F16-487C-9050-104DBCD66683}

    But I still have WebCacheV01.dat in this folder: C:\Users\XXXXXXX\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WebCache

    And this file is 26MB and always come up when I run CCleaner.
    Any help would be much appreciated to totally eliminate this.

    Oh, one other thing, if I open REGEDIT and search for the GUID
    {3EB3C877-1F16-487C-9050-104DBCD66683}
    I only find it in:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\WOW6432Node\CLSID\{0358b920-0ac7-461f-98f4-58e32cd89148}
    Predetermined Type REG_SZ Data Wininit Cache Task Object
    AppID Type REG_SZ {3EB3C877-1F16-487C-9050-104DBCD66683}

    I would be gratefull for any help possible
