After right clicking an icon, the pointer spins and won't stop.

The issue that you’ve encountered regarding the mouse pointer on your
Windows 10 computer may be caused by some programs or applications that are running in the background or the configuration for the device. To sort out your concern, we suggest that you manage the
Mouse Properties from the Control Panel to verify if the issue is not related to it. To do this, you may follow the steps below:

Pointers

Points are simply a value (address) that "points" to a value. It has no extra information about what it is pointing to (hence the danger). When using arrays/indexers, the operating system knows this is a collection that is this long and is of this type. Any operation that steps outside of those constraints is caught and handled. On the other hand, if a pointer so much as points to the wrong address, all the values will subsequently be wrong.

Pointers are faster but more risky.
