Windows 10: How to replace a corrupt .sys file? Wi-Fi direct virtual adapter #2

In device manager I am completely missing the (Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter #2) which I believe uses the vwifimp.sys file.


I know it's there in my (System32>drivers) folder. This is for (Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter #2). It was in my Device Manager>Network Adapters list. It accidentally was deleted apparently. It does not even show up in the directors so I could just update it. I've done the (Show Hidden Devices) step but nothing shows up.


Is there a way to reinstall that system file? I actually have a copy from my laptop that I could just drag over from a thumb drive but guessing it would not be that simple. I also have a ?Recovery? copy.

Wi-Fi virtual adapter

I am unable to create a wi-fi hotspot on my laptop (HP pavillion ab-032tx model) after upgrading to windows 10. I cannot find Microsoft WI-Fi direct Virtual adapter in the listed adapters (control pannel->network sharing center) . However Microsoft Wi-Fi
direct Virtual adapter and Microsoft Wi-Fi direct Virtual adapter #2 are listed in hidden drivers (device manager-> view tab, faded icons). Upon checking for hardware changes, there are no unkown devices being shown. Microsoft Wi-Fi direct Virtual adapter
#3 is also found in the view tab , but its icon is not faded. All my drivers are updated. Still i am unable to create a hotspot. Pl help me with the same.

2)also is disconnected Microsoft ISATAP Adapter(code45)
