Windows 10: The way to fix Error code 0x80070002 when downloading additional features

i bought a notebook (Lenovo windows 10), and quickly trying to install additional language pack (such as chinese, japanese and HKSAR english basic typing and other stuff). I also try to download additional windows feature (control panel>programs>turn windows feature on and off). And always when the download is complete the 0x80070002 error shows up. I have already tried again, but the error still here.


I search for ways to fix that error, but they don't work. Also my notebook BSoD at least four times since installation (error code: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA). I have already done a memory check and it said no problem. Maybe there's relationships between them?

Error 0x80070002 when trying to update Windows


I have been having issues for months with Windows 10 updates failing due to Error 0x80070002 on my gaming laptop. The full message reads:

2019-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4503286) -Error 0x80070002.

I am currently on version 1803 (OS Build 17134.590) and I'm being told "You're currently running a version of windows that's nearing the end of support. We recommend you update to the most recent version of Windows 10 now to get the latest features and security improvements."

I have followed the instructions on Error Code 0x80070002 Fixed – Eassos Step-by-Step Tutorial but this hasn't resolved the problem. Does anybody know how to fix this?

 

Can't open Windows Sandbox Error 0x80070002


Microsoft has acknowledged this issue now:

Windows Sandbox may fail to start with error code “0x80070002”Windows Sandbox may fail to start with "ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND (0x80070002)" on devices in which the operating system language is changed during the update process when installing Windows 10, version 1903.


Affected platforms:

• Client: Windows 10, version 1903

Next steps: We are working on a resolution and estimate a solution will be available in late June.

 

Error code 0x80070002 when changing/adding features in Windows Features

Today I attempted adding some things in Windows Features (Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off and when applying I received the error message as follows:

Windows couldn't complete the requested changes.

The system cannot find the file specified.

Error code: 0x80070002

The features I tried to enable were as follows:

• Hyper-V

Hyper-V Management Tools

Hyper-V GUI Management Tools

Hyper-V Module for Windows PowerShell

Hyper-V Platform

Hyper-V Hypervisor

Hyper-V Services

• Services for NFS

• Windows Hypervisor Platform

I'm running Windows 10 Pro - Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.48)
