  1. Is Microsoft Store associated with Microsoft?

It feels more like a scammer site.

Bought Movie Maker Pro but when I went to save it asked me to register.

    I wasn't supplied with a registration number.

MS Support tells me I need to pay extra for registration.

Then, when I suggest that it's unfair because there was no mention of another fee in the purchase agreement, that i give him remote access to my computer.

Well, I was born along time ago, but Ive been online since 1989 so I was reluctant to allow that.

So he transferred me to "MS Support" but after trying to navigate the robotic menu system which didn't understand my australian english, I was told to call back in business hours.

At 7PM AEST, what are business hours for microsoft.

At this stage I'm feeling that I've lost $14. Hope that's not all.

  2. Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.
