Why screenshots are save in this folder

C:\Users\[my username]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsFeedbackHub_[extended file name gibberish]

I understand that you are facing issues with attaching screenshot to the Feedback app. Let me help you in resolving the issue.

I suggest you to try the following steps to attach a screenshot and check if that helps.

• Open Feedback app.
• Click on “Screenshot” icon in the Feedback window.
• Open the window you need to take a screenshot and then click on the “Camera” icon on the top left corner of the window.
• Click on the “check mark” adjacent to the camera icon to save the screenshot.

Can't take screenshot on Windows Feedback app?

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community. I understand the inconvenience you faced. I will certainly help you with this. This issue may arise due to Feedback app corruption during upgrade. I suggest you to follow the below given
methods and check if it helps:

Method 1:

I suggest you to run the Windows store app
troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click on Windows Store app.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
• Check if issue persists.

If issue persist kindly follow the below given method

Method 2:

If issue persist, I suggest you to perform DISM scan and check if the issue is resolved. I suggest you to try the following steps:

• Open command prompt by pressing Windows key + X and selecting “Command prompt admin”.
• In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

• Close the command prompt and restart the PC and check if it works.

Feedback - Include a screenshot..how?

Sorry, It has been awhile since I used public build "feedback".

To do Windows Feedback:

You need to open "Windows Feedback" app (If not in your start menu apps, then go Windows store to download it)

Once open, you type your feedback heading in "search for feedback" box at top

I will call my feedback example "learning to screenshot"





Now you click "add new feedback" (it opens next ex.)

You click whether it is suggestion or problem

Fill in detail of suggestion or problem

Click down to find which area of Windows 10 your feedback belongs in









Now you want to include "screenshot" (this is tricky part)

click "take a screenshot"

Look at top left-hand side of pc screen, you will see"camera" and "stop" icon

You click camera icon on the page that you want to screenshot

then you click stop (and you should see that screenshot appear in windows feedback)









When you finished detailing & all screenshot incl. You press post feedback (that sends it off)
