  1. Display of monoblock accidently turns off and nothing can wake it

I don't know, maybe it is not Windows who causes this, but I must check every possibility.

Display is not black, it is literally turned off or maybe has no signal. Sleep mode and hibernation are turned off in settings, screen is set to turn off after 5 hours. It happens accidently, even if I was using computer 10 minutes ago. Computer at the same time is not sleeping, hibernating or smth, I can see it because:

    1. Power button is lit and doesn't blink

    2. Silent noise of cooling system

    3. Sometimes I am able to start playback and pause in my audioeditor, using Space button

I can put computer into sleep by pressing power button and wake it again, but display is still off. There is another small button near the power b., I don't know what is it for, but when I press it multiple times, some strange icon(but not Windows) and timer appears on the screen for ~10s, and then it is off again. So display is OK.

No keyboard shortcuts are working(I tried Esc, Ctrl+Alt+Del, Ctrl+Shift+Esc, Alt+Tab, Win). I cannot save my work, I can only do hard reboot. I still haven't tried following ideas:

    1. Ctrl+Win+Enter to start Narrator, just to find out what's going on without graphics.

    2. Set the power button to put computer into hibernation, rather than sleep, and then wake it up. Maybe it can help...

  2. computer wake-up after sleep

Did all the steps exactly as shown above and "Allow this device to wake the computer" was already selected.

I think you might have miss-understood the problem. It appears that the computer is waking up, but it doesn't re-connect to my display. I have to turn off the display and turn it back on to get my display to to re-connect. This was not a problem prior to
    the last Win 10 upgrade.

  3. Will not wake from sleep

    Hi,

Thank you for keeping us posted.

I would suggest you to try the steps below to open the power troubleshooter

    1. Press Windows key + R to open the run command.

    2. Type control and press enter to open control panel.

    3. Type troubleshooting in the control panel search box.

    4. On the left side, click on "troubleshooting".

    5. Click "view all" on the left pane.

    6. Run the power troubleshooter.

To make sure your devices are set to wake the computer up, I would suggest you to follow the steps below:

    • 1. Press Windows key + R

      2. Type devmgmt.msc and press enter.

      3. Expand keyboard, it will display your keyboard, right click and go to properties.

      4. Select Power management.

      5. Check Allow this device to wake the computer.
    Let us know the result.

Display of monoblock accidently turns off and nothing can wake it

Display does not turn off when pc is idle

Just did all the suggestions. Did not work. Display does not turn off.

This issue was from the beginning when I downloaded Win 10. I had Win 8.1 and the display always turned off as I set it.

My pc is HP Pavilion Touchsmart 23 all-in-one. According to "checking for updated drivers on display and monitors", I always get the response that the drivers currently installed are the correct ones.
