Windows 10: Keyboard/Mouse Logitech K720

Windows updated on 15/9/19 on restart the keyboard was highlited as having a problem the mouse still worked fine, I tried uninstalling and attached a Microsoft keyboard/mouse, same problem, uninstalled and used an old usb mouse and keyboard, still problematical with same notice 'error in registry, two different advisors have messed around via remote sessions and given up without solving the problem, I have been using the on screen keyboard for the past 3 days. As I am severely disabled this is a pain to say the least - can anyone help please - many thanks. Steve

Logitech wireless keyboard / mouse hangs

Problems

• Intermittent nature
  
• The mouse will often hang (won't move)
  
• The keyboard will often not type
  
• Sometimes, the keys get saved up and come out later all at once, and sometimes they never come out
  
• The mouse seems to have difficulty traveling to the top left of the screen.
  

Equipment

• Dell Precision M3800 Laptop
  
• Windows 10 Professional operating system
  
• Logitech wireless keyboard (K270)
  
• Logitech wireless mouse (M185). They came in the same box / use the same dongle.
  
• "Plugable USB 3.0" docking station that runs the DisplayLink software. It has two monitors attached to it, one by DVI and the other by HDMI. It's plugged into the laptop by USB.
  

Troubleshooting Steps Taken

• Wired keyboard and wired mouse work great.
  
• When wireless was plugged in, it was in a USB port on the laptop itself, not the docking station
  
• I rerouted the monitors to plug directly into the laptop (take this docking station out of the equation). So far the wireless keyboard/mouse are not malfunctioning. This seems to indicate that the docking station is a necessary component to reproduce the problem). But I have to give it 1-2 days to make sure because the problem is intermittent.
  

Question

What would be a good first choice for a fix I can try that won't hurt anything (update a driver...where?)?

 

I Need Advice For Logitech Gaming Mouse, Keyboard and Headset

Hello,

I want to buy new keyboard, mouse and headset. I'm thinking that following keyboard, mouse and headset could be good. But I still need suggestion about these. I'm using Logitech keyboard and mouse for years but now they damaged. I can't use them. What you think about following items? Are they good enough to buy or you suggest something different?

By the way, there is one more choice for headset. I added that headset too.

Windows 10: Wireless logitech keyboard and mouse lags intermittently suddenly.

Your post seems to be the only one where people marked as solving their issue, but I do not quite understand what you did. By clicking either of the following, you are not actually selecting anything:

• C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\mouclass.sys
• C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\mouhid.sys

I have K270 keyboard & M510 mouse. I do not notice much lag on the keyboard; it is the mouse that is frustrating.

In Device Manager (Mice and other pointing devices)

• Dell Touchpad
• HID-compliant mouse (Driver = Microsoft, 10.0.15063.0)
• Logitech HID-compliant Unifying Mouse (Logitech, 5.90.38.0)
• Logitech HID-compliant Unifying Mouse (Logitech, 5.90.38.0)

I am running Windows 10 Pro 1703 (OS Build 15063.138)
