Win10 - how to queue a job to an offline printer?

When I am away from my wifi printer, how can I print to the "offline" printer? How can I queue jobs to the printer and have them print when I re-connect to my printer? (This print queue function used to exist in previous versions of Windows.)

I have upgraded my PC to WIn10 and it seems that the previous "queue" function no longer exists in Win10. Is that right?

    :)

printer queue is blocking print jobs

    Hi Fred,

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall Printer drivers and check.

Follow the steps given here to uninstall the Printer Drivers.

    a) Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.

    b) Select Device Manager.

    c) Find and double-click Printer queues from the left panel to uninstall

    d) Right-click the device, and click Uninstall.

    e) Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click OK to remove the driver.

    f) Restart the computer.

Also refer the link and follow the suggestions.

Delete print jobs from the print queue.

Steps applicable to MFC J430w model too. Do let us know the status. Thank you.

  3. Print job stuck in queue

Another "fun fact": if I am on another network, the printer is still in my printer list, but the queue seems to be empty. It is only as I get on the network again, the stuck job shows up.

  4. Win10 - how to queue a job to an offline printer?

Printers always has jobs stuck in queue Win10

I am running Win10 on a brand new Asus and constantly have jobs stuck in my HP queue. I tried deleting or stopping them from my printer window. Reinstalled the driver. Made sure I had all my Updates updated. Unplugged printer. Cussed.

I have tried going into Control Panel - Admin Tools - Services - Print Spooler - Stop and Start

    (Sometimes that works.)

Most of the time a queue just sit there while I twiddle my thumbs. Sometimes it takes a few minutes other times 10, 15, 20 minutes. Sometimes a (stuck) job will then print three times before a second or subsequent jobs will even print.

I have an HP with Win7 and a Dell with Win8 and both print
    without issue.

This is an issue causing problems and delays with my business.

Any answers Microsoft? Anyone else found a solution?
