Windows 10: Windows WDF violation on MacBookPro (2009) - not solved -

Hello everyone,


i'm having a problem after the October 2018 update. THIS IS THE 4 FOURTH TIME I OPEN A QUESTION. The previous questions are closed and the problem is not solved. I already sent the memory dump.

I tried 3 times to update my Windows 10 system, but each time i had to revert back the updates due to a Blue Screen crash (actually a green screen).


The error is WDF violation, and doesn't say nothing else.


I lost several hours trying to solve the problem, without results.


I tried all the fix suggested, including the HP keyboard driver (non applicable for my pc, btw) and some driver update.


Windows crashes as soon as the Windows Defender icon appears on the notification area.

I tried to disable Windows Defender by policy, same result.


Could someone give me an hint, otherwise i have to permanently disable the updates

We understand the difficulties you are facing with the Windows WDF violation BSOD on your Windows 10 MacBook. We also checked your actual thread and found that you have posted the dump file as asked by the Independent Advisor.
