Windows 10: If this app isn't working right, reset it - Strange characters (font)

After a Windows Update, on every Universal Windows Program, the option Reset now displays the following message under the Reset text:

It was supposed to be:

If this app isn't working right, reset it. The app's data will be deleted.

As the text can be read, but using alternative characters, what's the explanation for that?
How can it be fixed?

The file integrity is fine (sfc).

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

 

Strange font

Thank you for bringing this up. We need to dig deep into this as this issue is unusual:

• Is this only happening in the Windows Media Player App?
• Have you checked if the other apps that has a search bar has the same font?

In the meantime, what we can do is reset the font in Windows Media Player by performing a restore. You can follow these steps on how to this:

• In Media Player, press the Alt key.
• Then click Tools.
• Choose Advanced from the pop-out menu.
• Choose Restore Media Library.

Cortana isn´t working

When I hit enter, it did something, but there´s still no Cortana, even after restart. So I tried it again, but now it says that it failed, because it´s already installed and it´s working in PC. So it should work, but Cortana still isn´t here.
