  1. Browser Modifier Win32/Deepsink?

Recently Windows 10 Image Backup refused to backup my system. The reason given was that there was a file with a virus in my computer. I didn't know that "image backup" did virus checks and finally had found the so called virus infected file after about an hour and 15 minutes of execution. After further investigation I learned that Windows Defender does not consider the file as being infected. My obvious conclusion is that one of the two Windows apps is wrong and needs correction by Microsoft. My hopes that Defender is correct (I don't need malicious software in my computer) and that the backup image app will be corrected. Moreover, I am surprised (startled) that this seems to be an uncoordinated procedure between two groups of decision makers. I am saddened by this issue.

How to I remove Browser Modifier Win:32/fonaid

JRT and AdwCleaner are combined now. If you ran AdwCleaner, you already ran JRT.

Follow the steps here. The title may differ slightly, but it's the same issue.
