Windows 10: HP Print Notification, ANNOYING

Good Day,


Following issue presents itself since latest windows update (10.0.18362 Build 18362)

HP for some reason keeps popping this up even with "Get notifications from apps and other senders" Set to OFF. There are no active tasks for it in task scheduler and also not in the start-up list, I don't even have HP software installed.


My theory is, as it's a network printer, does it somehow ping it to the PC at startup or? Any Advice appreciated!

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

Printing issue with HP Laser Jet P1005

Please try to following trouble shooting Steps:

• 
  Turn off the printer using the power button and then unplug the printer power cord from the power outlet.
  
• 
  Save your work. After using these steps, your current print jobs are lost and will need to be printed again.
  
• 
  Open Windows Services using one of the following methods:
  • 
    Search Windows for services, and click Services in the list of results.
    
  • 
    On your keyboard, press Windows key (
    
    ) + R, type services.msc in the window that opens, and then click OK.
    
• 
  Scroll through the list of services and find the name Print Spooler.
  
• 
  Right-click Print Spooler and select Stop.

Windows 10 HP Officejet Pro 8620 Will not print


Thank you for posting this. I tried all the listed steps and still not able to print EXCEPT when I ran the HP Print and Scan Doctor; at the conclusion of the scan, the app prompts me to print a test page from within the Scan Doctor and it is successful. I recall the 8620 being able to do this as well, however.
