    Windows Security affected items action

I am sure this is a rooky question, but I can't find a Help definition to assist me. Running Windows 10, Windows Security alerted me that it identified and blocked a Trojan. Status says "removed". but below that it has a selection button labeled Actions. When I click that, the only option I am given is "Allow". What does that mean? Would I be allowing the Trojan to stay in my system? Or am I allowing the removal?

    :)

Disable Action Center in Windows 7?

Unfortunately that doesn't disable Action Center, all it does it cause Acution Center to bitch about the Security Center service not running.

Action Center seems to be a different beast from Security Center...

And telling it to not display any messages gets it out of the way, the same way disabling the icon in the suggestions above does, but Action Center is still enabled and running.

  3. Windows defender does not allow for me to unquarantine items

    Hi Michael,

The Real-time protection feature of Windows
Defender stops malware from running on your device. It's possible that this feature is preventing the system from restoring/allowing the affected program. If you're sure that the affected program is virus free, we suggest that you disable the
feature temporarily and try to restore the program. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • Type Windows Defender settings in the search bar and press
      Enter.
    • Under Windows Defender, disable
Real-time protection by clicking the toggle button.
    • Once you're done, restore the affected file/program and check if the issue persists.

Also, you can allow a quarantined file/program from the Windows
Defender desktop app. If you have the app installed on your device, you can follow these steps:

    • Type Windows Defender in the search box, and then select the Desktop app.
    • Under the History tab, click on the check box for the affected file/program.
    • Select Allow item.

We'll appreciate if you can send us an update.

Disable Action Center in Windows 7?

thats why you uncheck all of the boxes all i think action center is is a warning about various other aspects of the pc. so just uncheck everything and it wont complain about jack or show the icon its worked on countless 7 formats with me. though i do agree security center is diffirent i wasnt entirely implying that it was the same more like security center in itself is also an unneeded program

granted but unchecking what it monitors surely is a way to lighten the load? id imagine anyway seeing as your telling it not to actuively check those programs
