  1. Will Windows 10 'Reset this PC' option fix my computer?

After a Windows Update 17 August 2019, my League of Legends stopped working, and I tried the first thing I always do to fix it, since that is pretty common, which is uninstalling and reinstalling. The problem is: the game would not reinstall again. After a couple more tries and some research, I got to the conclusion that this was a DirectX related problem. I kept trying to fix it for a week or two, but eventually gave up on it, and went to install Steam again after a long time, but for my surprise, Steam was not working properly as well and I couldn't play any game, the one and only game that actually works on my computer right now is Minecraft. I like Minecraft a lot but it's very easy to get tired of it, and my friends don't always want to play it. Also, some Windows features at the Control Panel are not working as well. Since then I tried every single method possible, including recovery, just to get the same result. Except this one feature: Reset this PC. Will this fix it, and how safe is it to do? I've heard of people who got stuck on it and their machine wouldn't boot ever again.

    :)

  2. Ahhzz Win User

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
