Windows 10: no output device installed

I am using windows 10 pro 64bit license version os. but the audio driver is not working at all. I tried all the steps provided by Microsoft and other third parties also though my problem is not solved. please provide a better solution if anyone can.

You will need to select Windows 8 from the drop down list while installing the driver in compatibility mode.

I would suggest you to try setting the speaker as default audio output by following the steps below and check if it helps.

1. Right click on the sound icon on the right bottom corner of the taskbar.

2. Select "playback devices".

3. If "speaker" is not set as the default device, highlight it and click "set as default".

5. Save the changes.

I suggest you to check if the audio drivers are installed by checking in Device Manager by following the steps below:

1. Press 'Windows key + R' and type 'devmgmt.msc' (without quotes) and press enter.

2. Expand 'Audio inputs and outputs' and check if there are any drivers listed.

If there are no drivers listed, then install the latest drivers available or from the drivers CD which was obtained when you had Windows 7.

• Press Windows key.
• Type Troubleshooting.
• Click Hardware and Sound.
• Click Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the on-screen troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, you may download the updated driver from your device manufacturer.
