    Win 10 Sep 19 Update failed because of AVG Antivirus


    Windows 10 update failed because it says I must uninstall AVG Antivirus.

    I’ve never had AVG on this pc! I’ve tried using removal programs from (avgclear.exe and avg_remover.exe) from AVG, but I still get the same message.

    Help!

    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.
