I have also turned off "Allow to wake" on both of the devices connected to the USB Hub.

  2. Computer will not stay asleep. powercfg -lastwake yields USB Root Hub; "Allow to wake" off and still always wakes system

I understand that this a dupe of a previous thread, but that one is a year old and hasn't borne fruit, in our case.

This is a Windows 10 (1607 Anniversary update) HP AIO desktop PC. We use a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse. The system fails to stay asleep. The powercfg -lastwake indicates that the offending function is a USB Root Hub. The particular hub has drivers
that are dated 2006, but Windows avows that those are the best drivers, and hence need no update.

We have tried turning off both the keyboard and mouse, but still the PC wakes up on its own.

We have no idea how to proceed. Does anyone have suggestion for curing this annoying behavior (which, BTW, has been plaguing Windows users for years and years)?

My HP All In One touchscreen computer will not stay in sleep mode. Running powercfg -lastwake gives this response:

    Wake History Count - 1

    Wake History [0]

    Wake Source Count - 1

    Wake Source [0]

    Type: Device

    Instance Path: USB\ROOT_HUB20\4&20d008e6&0

    Friendly Name:

    Description: USB Root Hub

    Manufacturer: (Standard USB Host Controller)

I have 2 listsing for USB Root Hub in Device Manager and have shut off "Allow to wake computer".in both (still have "Allow computer to turn off device to save power" checked. First of all, should there be 2 listings in Device Manager? (Usually with multiple
device listings if I uninstall one it just reinstalls when needed or used). Also, possibly related, a USB storage device that I occasionally remove to transfer files to another computer is always in use when I try to turn it off, maybe using that USB Root
    Hub?

How can this issue be resolved? If I search for a new driver, I am told I have the latest driver is installed. Is there a BIOS setting related to this? I can not even set the system to go to sleep as it continually sleeps and wakes after a specified time.

    Thanks,

Computer will not stay asleep. powercfg -lastwake yields USB Root Hub; "Allow to wake" off and still always wakes system

Unfortunately, after one day of sleep mode working properly, it is back to the system being woken up by something. There are no wake timers present and all items that might wake the system have been unchecked to do that. Also, apporpriate changes in Advanced
Settings in the power scheme have been made as suggested and the Power troubleshooter was ran and settings changed and left as such. Anyone care to help?

Now I get for powercfg -lastwake:

    Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.10240]

    (c) 2015 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>POWERCFG -LASTWAKE

    Wake History Count - 1

    Wake History [0]

    Wake Source Count - 0

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>

    Maybe a BIOS setting?

    Thanks,
