Windows 10: does an improperly loaded home page affect how a wireless printer works?

My Windows 10 doesn't load up properly. Slide shows don't load up. My Brother Wireless printer is not functioning at all in spite of Verizon tech managing to connect it to my landline phone, it being impossible to succeed with the wireless password. The printer does work offline.


What is happening to make the page load improperly?

• What is the make and model of the printer and the computer?

As you have mentioned that “I cannot turn on my wireless printer. it says my radio is off”
which means the wireless button might not have turned ‘ON’ on your printer.

So I suggest you to check for the wireless button on the printer and turn it ‘ON’ then follow the below steps to ‘ADD’ the wireless printer on your computer and connect it, check if it helps.

• In the Search box type as ‘Device and Printers’.
• Click on ‘Add a printer’ you will find the wireless printer is displayed on your computer.
• Click on the printer and click on ‘Next’.
• Follow the onscreen instruction and connect the computer and printer.

If still you are facing issue in connecting the wireless printer then I suggest you to refer to the printer manual and check if it helps.

Wireless printer keeps losing signal

I recently bought an epson wireless printer (L355 ecotank) for my non-wireless PC (the only one in the house, everything else is wireless) but i keep getting loss of connection to the printer.

Dunno if it has anything to do with it but another PC here (also wireless connected) suffers from net connection loss sometimes. @ 1st i thought it was firefox and i tried uninstalling / re-installing it to see if that worked but after i noticed that the very same thing happened with IE so i ruled out to source of the prob being the browser.

The reason i mention the this prob with the PC @ all is because the printer's connection behavior is very similar: it's either online for quite a while or i have trouble scanning / printing because, although the router's page says the printer is online always and has very good signal, even when the connection is lost: this is what puzzles me!

The printer is located 2.5m away from the PC, with a mirror on it's back. I know mirrors block wireless signals but since it's behind the printer and not in direct path between the printer and the router, it shouldn't affect the connection, right?
