Windows 10: None of my Windows Apps work, and I think it's because Windows Defender Firewall won't start

I originally noticed none of my Windows apps work (i.e. calculator, Photos, Mail): they start for a moment and then immediately close. Microsoft Store won't open at all - and the wsreset cmd does nothing to help. I then found Windows Powershell commands to try but I get errors saying that Appxmanifest is missing. I tried to 'Get' the Microsoft Store apppackage through a command but that didn't work because Firewall wasn't on. It seems to be circular in that I can't get apps cause the firewall isn't on which I can't turn on because Windows Defender is part of the app package that isn't installing/opening properly because there is no firewall?!


I then checked the status of Windows Firewall in services.msc and it seems to constantly flicker between 'running' and 'starting' so it seems to at least be trying to start.


I haven't gotten any AV software. I tried adding a new user but same problem (and this had some difficulty as I had to add the account through 'control userpasswords2' in Run as the usual way resulted in the same screen which quickly appears and closes as it does for Windows apps), with the added bonus of getting a plain black screen when you sign in where nothing is clickable. I've tried SFC, Firewall diagnostic, restarting BFE and increasing it's permissions, and I'm up to date on all updates.


I've scoured the internet for help but have found nothing that fixes the problem. Can anyone offer any suggestions? I'm at my wits end.

• Click Firewall and network protection.
• Click Private (discoverable) network and click On.
• Click Public (non-discoverable) network and click On.

yes i am sure i am having no issues with a router. this is at my work. and i only have issues with the windows 7 firewall.

as for adding ports, i do it the same as what is listed in your picture.

 

Lumia 830 main camera won`t start

After windows 10 update my lumia 830 camera won`t start . It says Camera won`t start . I tried other camera apps but camera still not work . Front camera working plz help me . I did hard reset , soft reset , downgraded to 8.1 but problem still persist
