Windows 10: Lost or missing emails

After a full restauration of Windows 10 (1803) and an update to version 1903 many of my apps and software have been erased. For the most part the private files seems to have been protected BUT I cannot find my emails from IMAP (Sympatico) account. Those emails from 2002 to today where saved locally on my hardrive. I have look an try finding an .ost file or anything that could lok like a saved emails...but Nothing for now. Any suggestions would help.

If some of your emails were lost, it's possible that there's a synchronization issue, or they were accidentally deleted. For us to get a clearer picture of what's going on, please answer the following questions:

• Which email account are you referring to?
• Have you made any changes on your phone before this happened?
• Can you provide the troubleshooting steps that you're already tried?

Email contacts missing

1. If you open Mail app and click the + sign for New mail > type first couple of letters of a contact name > will a list of suggested names appear ?

2. Go to All apps > scroll to P > click People. Is the contact list there ?

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
