Windows Boot Manager switching drives/Windows Install flash drive won’t load

I was experiencing weird artifacting like glitches on google chrome so i was looking up what might be able to fix it. Updating my graphics drivers was a possible fix so thats what i did. But after doing that all of my games started to lag horribly so i decided to restart my computer. After restarting my computer i kept getting black screens so I figured my graphics card died and went to sleep. Today i tried to start it up and i got the bios flash screen and went into the bios. And for some reason the windows boot manger has my D: drive listed rather than the C: drive which is an ssd i used for my windows install. I tried manually booting from my ssd and i get a blinking cursor for a few seconds then it returns me to the bios screen. This makes me think maybe my ssd got corrupted as the games i had installed and chrome and my drivers are all located on that ssd. So since the data loss on that drive doesnt really bother me i put a windows installation flash drive into my computer and launched from that in an attempt to format and reinstall windows on my ssd. But now i just a blue windows logo and ive left it for at least 30 minutes now and nothing has changed. I cant seem to catch a break lol. Please someone save me. I’m running windows 10 on a custom built pc. If my specs may help i will gladly provide them.

    :)

  2. Installing windows from usb hard drive

i repair alot of computers and install windows alot. currently i have to carry about a big cd wallet with all my disks but i use a usb hard drive just now for installing windows 7 32 because its soo much faster to install.

now my question is is there a way to put all my windows disks on the one hard drive and boot the iso i select? like a boot manager for iso files? that way i could have all my windows, linux and boot disks all one one drive rather than a load of dvds.

my only other option was a flash drive for each operating system but thats an expensive way to do it.

  3. Installing Windows 7 via USB flash drive!

Its weird tho cause I have no problem with installing from disc. I did change it back to boot from HDD. I really dont want to uninstall all my components, kinds defeats the purpose of installing from usb. it would take longer to disconnect and reconnect after install then it would to just install from dvd.

Do you think its beacuse the drive was formated in ntfs, thats the only step I did different from the OP. Well that and the bootsect /nt60 command before coping files.

heres they way I went, probly have to try it fat32

    launch diskpart.exe)
select disk 1 (or your USB drive number, use list disk to get it)
    clean
    create partition primary
    select partition=1
    active
    format fs=ntfs
    assign
    exit

Now that the drive is boot aware, we have to initialize its boot sector with the Windows boot manager (BOOTMGR), using the Bootsect.exe utility located in the boot directory of the Vista installation DVD. We have to tell the utility that our target drive is NTFS formatted:

    bootsect.exe /nt60 f:
