Windows 10: Installed Windows 10 on a virtual machine (Parallels for Mac) but switched to another...

I bought Windows 10 because I wanted to run programs that I could not on mac (games, mostly), However I wanted to change which virrtual machine I was using to check which runs better. However, Microsoft is not recognizing my copy of windows as genuine. How can I work this out where I can change which virtual machine I am using but still only use one activation of Windows?

Unable to activate Windows 10 in parallels

I transferred a valid and activated copy of windows 10 (free upgrade from Windows 7) to Parallels on my Mac. The copy in Parallels though says it is not activated. How do I activate this VM?

The original windows computer is now switched off and not used, but is a windows 7 virtual machine in Parallels on this Mac.

Running Windows 8.1 via Parallels Virtual Machine on a Mac...No Windows 10 update icon...

I'm running Windows 8.1 (purchased, legal copy) on my Mac via a Parallels virtual machine...

Have automatic Windows Updates turned on -- all updated, with no new updates available, and KB3035583 and KB2976978 have been successfully installed over the past two weeks and couple of days, respectively.

Still NO "Windows 10 update" icon in tray. Have tried everything posted thus far (including "GWXTriggers" solution as well as "ReserveWin10.cmd" solution).

Anyone else have any ideas?
