Windows 10: I have XLKR files on a memory stick which when I download to Windows 10 they won't open

I currently have files on a windows vista laptop which I wish to transfer via a memory stick to Windows 10. The files are in XLR format and when I input my memory stick into Windows 10 they will not open ?

ProDuo Memory Stick not recognized in Windows 10

I recently upgraded to Windows 10. I have Sony Cyber-Shot camera with a 4GB Sony Memory Stick ProDuo that I use to upload photos to my computer. Previously I simply had to insert the card into the slot on my laptop and a window opened with the pictures.
Now that I have Windows 10 when I insert the card into the slot nothing happens. I open file explorer, but it isn't even listed under devices and hardware like it was before. I've tried searching for it in various folders and can't access the memory card at
all. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run Windows app troubleshooter.

Step 2: Run shell commands for Windows store and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Command prompt(Admin) to open elevated Command prompt.
  
• 
  Type the following commands.
  
  
  
  powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
  
• 
  Hit enter, the blackscreen will appear still for a couple of seconds. After a couple of second a new line saying C:\.... will appear.
  
• 
  Close Command Prompt.
  
• 
  Try to start the Windows Store again.
