Windows 10: Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 Scrolling Requires More Scrolls to Scroll Along Page...

Am I in the right spot? My question is about using my specific mouse on a Windows 10 computer. I have bought a new computer -- Windows 10. I have plugged in my old favorite Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 into a USB port. It works, but I notice that the scrolling works differently, it seems. It takes more scrolls than before to scroll from one part of the page to another. I'd like to avoid driver installation, but will oblige if you can point me to the precise URL where to obtain the needed driver if you're sure that this will fix the issue. I avoid experimenting.

Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse suddenly stopped scrolling

My Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse suddenly stopped scrolling. It's been working fine for months, but in the middle of using it stopped scrolling. I have already tried the following:

- Device Manager says "This device is working properly."

- I clicked Update Driver Software but says "The best drivers for your device are already installed"

- I uninstalled the mouse and reinstalled it, but still having the same problems.

Everything else on the mouse works fine (including clicking the scroll ball and super-scrolling up and down), just the scrolling stopped.

 

Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse with Windows 10; scroll wheel won't scroll UP.

I thought I had posted this issue before but couldn't find it in a search, so here we go: I just recently bought a Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse, Bluetooth; I have Windows 10; The mouse works for the most part except when I try to scroll UP; I can scroll
down on a page, then when I try to scroll back up, the pointer just stalls, sits there, won't let me scroll back up. Its so annoying that I have had to switch back to my wired mouse. I don't think this should be a problem considering I bought this mouse
BECAUSE it said it was made for Windows 10! But now it is pretty useless! I liked that it was Bluetooth, and therefore took up no USB ports. The Bluetooth connection is fine. I tried downloading another version of Keyboard and Mouse Center, but it would
not install because my system has a later version. Please someone help with this, otherwise I need to just return this mouse!

 

Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500's scroll wheel is too sensitive

I bought the Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500, the wired one, and the scroll wheel is absolutely over sensitive. No matter what settings I change in the software it came with and in the Windows 10 mouse settings, the scroll wheel scrolls everything way too
fast, especially in games. Are there any other settings or things I can do to make it not so sensitive? I tried setting the lines to scroll for horizontal and vertically to 1, but nothing changes.
