  1. Edge Public Beta - Two Finger Scroll Causes Right Click Every Time?

    Hi everyone,

I have a relatively new HP Omen laptop. I downloaded the Edge public beta to give it a test but every time I use two-finger scrolling using the Synaptics touchpad it activates right click. This only happens in Edge, not Firefox or any other programs.

I tried reinstalling the Synaptics drivers, rolling back the drivers, deactivating two-finger click in Synaptics settings and nothing is working. Has anyone had this experience before? I am running the latest version of Windows 10 and most updated drivers.

Edge Public Beta - Two Finger Scroll Causes Right Click Every Time?

    One finger scroll

I also had the problem with the ELAN touchpad single finger edge scroll not working. I loaded an older driver, but Windows update kept on installing its own driver. I fixed the problem by deleting the Windows 10 ELAN driver registry entries and then replaced it with the ELAN touchpad registry settings which I copied from my Windows 8.1 Samsung laptop. I rebooted and the single finger edge scroll worked again.
