    Hello,

I have a Cintiq pro 24 (DTK-2420/k). It was working before but suddenly the pen and the touch buttons stopped working. The remote controller still works. Status Led doesn't light at all.

It is listed as a generic PnP monitor in the Device Manager and the pen and the Wacom Cintiq itself doesn't recognize in the Wacom Desktop centre.

Up to his point, I tried completely uninstall (deleting remaining files and registry manually) and reinstall drivers several times. Also tried latest (6.3.37-3) and older versions of drivers (6.3.36-1).

    Specs:

    Windows 10 Home

    AMD Ryzen 7 2700x

Wacom Cintiq Pro Engine Transforms the Cintiq Pro Into a Windows 10 Workstation

Today Wacom announced the Wacom Cintiq Pro Engine, a creative PC module available in two configurations that fully integrates into the Cintiq Pro 24-inch pen display (announced today in a separate release). Designed for professional illustrators, designers, engineers and motion graphics users who require professional computing power and graphics performance, the modular Cintiq Pro Engine slots into the back of the Cintiq Pro 24, eliminating the space, cable clutter and compatibility issues that often result from using external computers and laptops.

"It is our mission to help professionals create with the least amount of distraction and clutter and to give them the power to tackle the new spaces of creating content for AR, VR and MR. The Wacom Cintiq Pro Engine provides a beautiful, easy to use solution for creatives everywhere," said Faik Karaoglu, Executive Vice President of the Creative Business Unit at Wacom.

Attaching the Cintiq Pro Engine to the Cintiq Pro 24 transforms the Cintiq Pro 24 into a full Windows 10 creative studio that supports even the most demanding programs and applications used by creative professionals. The combination of the Wacom Cintiq Pro display, the powerful Wacom Cintiq Pro Engine creative PC module, and a flexible and rotatable new Wacom Ergo Stand is an innovative approach to providing an all-in-one specialized working environment for creatives. Adding the use of the Wacom Pro Pen 3D, professionals who rely on 3D animation or sculpting software, or CAD applications, will see an immediate benefit to their workflow.

    Virtual Reality Support
In addition to the benefits around creative applications and workflows, Cintiq Pro Engine supports the increasingly important virtual reality (VR) workflow. Most Wacom products are already capable of supporting VR content creation, but to review and check the VR content, customers frequently need to move the content to another PC that has the graphics power to run VR content.

    Powerful Graphics
The Wacom Cintiq Pro Engine is powered by the NVIDIA Quadro P3200. This graphics card is based on the NVIDIA Pascal GPU architecture, which provides the power demanded by today's creative applications with dramatically faster graphics and computing power than on the CPU. "Wacom designs products for the way artists and designers create. They're intuitive, natural and fast and can be used anywhere," says Bob Pette, vice president, Professional Visualization, NVIDIA. "Our new mobile Quadro P3200 packs a ton of graphics power into the new Cintiq and Cintiq Engine Pro, and we're thrilled to have them showcased at our upcoming GPU Technology Conference."

    Flexibility Found Nowhere Else
The Wacom Cintiq Pro Engine memory and SSD are exchangeable and upgradable, ensuring system flexibility. Given the plug and play nature of the hardware, it's easy to move between Cintiq 32" and 24" displays while retaining the same computing environment with the Cintiq Pro Engine. This flexibility is found nowhere else in the market and leads to a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) than any other solution.

  3. Problem with the touch display on Wacom Cintiq tablet installed with Windows 10

Old title: I have a Cintiq conundrum

My Wacom Cintiq tablet screen has been changed by Windows 10 into a generic PnP monitor which means I no longer have aces to any colour profiling and calibration tools as the "Wacom Display App" now throws me back an error message telling me that there is
no compatible device attached to the computer.

I should point out that My Cintiq is working 100% perfectly and I have full aces to all touch settings, gestures and full pen sensitivity, the screen also looks great with 0 display issues.

What I need is to get the screen recognized by Windows 10 again in order to have my monitor calibration working, I'm a photographer running a printing business so 100% colour accuracy is absolutely key. (atm I'm using the tiny little buttons way up on the
top of the screen to run my monthly colour calibrations manually with my monitor profiler and it's driving me absolutely crazy).

Wacom are stumped so I thought I'd throw the question out to the wider community in the hopes that someone out there has experienced something similar and has a work around or fix.

Here's what I've tried so far....

    - Complete uninstall of all drivers related to Wacom in any way and a full clean re-install with the latest driver direct from the Wacom website.

    - Updated my Nvidia graphics card to the latest version directly from the Nvidia website.

    - Checked that the monitor was installed as the number 1 default monitor.

    - Forced Windows to search for new hardware after the driver re-install... nothing new was found.

    - Tried to get Windows to update the Generic PnP monitors driver from the devices menu... told me I already had the latest driver.

    - banged head against wall... (this did not actually help in any way) Wacom Cintiq only recongnized as generic monitor in the Device Manager :p

So I'm at a loss of what to do next any new suggestions would be great... perhaps I've missed something completely obvious?

  4. Wacom Cintiq only recongnized as generic monitor in the Device Manager

Using Windows Ink Workspace on a Wacom Cintiq or other tablet

I have a Wacom Cintiq tablet that acts like a second monitor. I don't have the little pen icon at the bottom of the Cintiq, but I can use it on my main screen.

I can't minimize the Ink Workspace and slide it over to the second screen.

How do I get it on the Cintiq? This has to be easy, I'm just not seeing how to do it! Somehow I need to get those little icons at the bottom of the screen on both monitors probably!
