  1. cursor becomes unstable Windows 10

    Hello

I'm having trouble determining how to fix my cursor. At least once a day it becomes unstable, bounces all over the screen. this is an HP laptop with Windows 10

Even if I remove the wireless mouse and the USB dongle that the mouse uses, the problem remains until I restart the computer.

    Any help?

    :)

  2. Cursor

    Hi Peter,

Unstable mouse cursors can be caused by outdated drivers, dirt inside the mouse, and more. To make your cursor work properly again, we recommend that you refer to this

Update us if the steps in the article helped you in resolving your concern.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Unstable cursor Windows 10

Having upgraded to Windows 10 some months ago - I now have an intermittent unstable cursor - this means that I need to close down/restart the laptop multiple times until the system reboots with a stable cursor. This can be anything from once to eighteen
times and is a nightmare as I also manage a online database with heavy traffic.

I've read and actioned previous comments such as checking for new mouse drivers but all are up to date - I believe that I reloaded Windows 10 on two occasions when first experienced the problem but to no avail.

I have an HP laptop, 16 gig of ram and a terabyte disc so it is a fast machine, the only thing that is spoiling it is Windows 10 although a like this version's concept.

At 71 I can well do without this problem so question is: how do I solve this issue?
