    Problem activating Flight Simulator x Deluxe in Windows 10


    Just installed flight simulator x Gold Edition on my HP with windows 10. Installed ok, but I'm unable to complete the activation. I get an error that the product code is not valid or entered incorrectly. I tried reinstalling the program several times with no luck. It runs fine in Trial mode, but kicks me out in 30 minutes. Purchased through Amazon. Searched for solutions, but none have worked. Don't want to try any solutions that require making mods to the registry. Came with security sticker on box, so I don't think it was ever used.


    Need help.

    Activating Flight Simulator X: Acceleration

    Hi Harry,

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    Activation is required to unlock all the features of the particular game. In order to activate Flight Simulator X you need to have the product key, which you would have received when you purchase the game.

    • Do you receive any error code when you try to activate Flight Simulator X?

    If you are receiving any error code while trying to activate Flight Simulator, you can refer the articles

    Flight Simulator X: "An error occurred while attempting to activate the product The problem may be due to an incomplete installation of the application"     and

    You receive an activation message after you play Flight Simulator X for 30 minutes.
