  1. Find local, static IP addresses while disconnected from network (Command Line)

Looking for the solution to this question myself, the first search result was this https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...d/d8f705a8-b8ba-4b32-acaa-6ca73925ac09?page=1. While all the enthusiastic responses were well-meant, they are either wrong or making it waaay too complicated. I want to make sure the correct answer is out there in the Microsoft Forums.

The command you want is simply:

    > netsh interface ip dump

Work at least for Windows 7, 8, and 10. This automatically generates and runs the script you need to get this information. The output is a bit messy to read, but according to the help info for this command there's an added bonus. I haven't tested this yet, but supposedly if you save the output to a file, presumably by tacking >your_filename.txt on immediately after "dump," this script can be used to restore those settings later.

TwistedTech over at StackOverflow deserves the credit.

Assigning Static IP Address Range in a Router

    yep, pretty much all.

for point #2 if you are having difficulty binding static IP in the router, it is ok to set static IP in the camera instead - just make sure you take a note on which IP is which camera so that you wouldnt put the wrong IP in the port forwarding.

am not sure what you meant. you don't need ddns to access the camera locally (from inside your LAN) *Confused Find local, static IP addresses while disconnected from network (Command Line)

  3. Is There a Way to View Other Computers and their IP Addresses on the Network Using the Command Prompt?

Like the title says, I'm wondering if there's a command in Command Prompt that displays a list of computers on a network with their correlating IP addresses. I'm currently going to college, and I usually set a static IP address. The problem is there are
hundreds of other students, and setting an IP address without causing a collision is blind chance. I'm wondering if there's a way for me to view the other student's IP addresses so that I would be able to see which ones are taken, and be able to set a static
IP address with much less guesswork.

    Thank you for your help!

  4. Find local, static IP addresses while disconnected from network (Command Line)

    Static IP on Lumia 950.

    Hi,

Follow the steps below and check if the features to apply static IP is available in your device.

    • Navigate to settings.
    • Search or navigate to “Wi-Fi”.
    • Scroll all the way down and tap “static ip”.
    • Turn on “Configure network settings manually”.
    • Key in the IP address, subnet mask and other details

Note: Do remember that your router / DHCP should support allocating static IP for this feature to work.

If the above feature is not available then your model may not support the same.

    Hope this helps

    Regards
