    Microsoft Mail Merge mdb file can't be opened for edit.

    See if you can still access the data source from the Mailings tab

    Click the Mailings tab

    Click Edit Recipient List

    Click in Data Source

    Select the .mdb file

    Click Edit...

    Can you open the Form Letter you created in Word to generate the mail merge?

    Open the Form Letter

    Click the Mailings tab

    Click Edit Recipient List

    Click in Data Source

    Select the .mdb file

    Click Edit...

    Edit the Data Source.

    Hi Andrze,

    If you're running Microsoft Access 2007 or newer (2010, 2013, or 2016), then the best way to convert an MDB file is to first open it and then save the open file to another format.
