Windows 10: Windows update is stuck because developer mode is stuck downloading

Hi!

for a few days I have been dealing with this issue, I tried turning developer mode on, but the download never completed

the spinning dots are there for 3 days now, and because of them Windows Update is unable to apply or download updates



via the DISM /Online /Add-Capability /CapabilityName:Tools.DeveloperMode.Core~~~~0.0.1.0 command i got this, but after a reboot it disappeared :/




this is the version I'm running




Thanks in advance for any help! Hope I don't have to reinstall Windows :/

Stuck to "searching for developer mode package".

Please note that it usually depends on the internet speed as when you choose
Developer Mode, the features are downloaded. If the internet speed is slow it may take a while to download and you will the dots circling.



If it is still stuck on 'searching for developer mode package', then I would suggest you to

create a new user account and enabling the developer mode in that account as there is a possibility that some of the user account components are corrupted. I would also suggest
you to check for any pending updates.

Downloading updates stuck at 0%


Hello everyone, Windows Update has been stuck at 0% every time I've tried in the last couple of days (see screenshot). These are the two updates available:

• Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3103688).

• Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3105213).

 

Google Chrome Extensions Updating stuck for Developer mode.

Sorry I wasn't clear before. I'm talking about the standalone program. It was called Google Drive (still is for the web and app), but the program is now called Backup and Sync.
