    Windows Rebooting and troubleshooting issues

Heyo! This is my first time posting something to this community.

I have a broken installation of Windows 10 in which I cannot boot into the desktop. My laptop just recently suffered a complete motherboard failure and had to buy a replacement board. The replacement is the same exact board that came built with my computer.

As soon as I tried booting Windows, it blue screened and restarts. It reboots instantly or after a few minutes on a blank screen (no mouse appearing) after the startup screen disappears. I tried some common troubleshooting steps such as doing System Restore. I've created a restore point prior to the board failure but encountered an error (0x80070780) because it failed to restore a folder relating to the Windows Store Apps for no reason..

I tried going into command prompt and did some common repair commands such as sfc /scannow and dism /image:C\ /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth but all came up with errors. Although prior to doing those commands, /CheckHealth reported that the "component store is repairable".

SFC came up with an error saying that "It couldn't complete the requested operation" and DISM came up with something about not having a Windows Repair Source.

Luckily, I have Windows 10 Install USB so I tried those common troubleshooting steps again. I even checked the disk for errors but reported that it's working fine.

    But still, gotten errors...

My last resort is to use a System Image I've made a few months earlier but that will overwrite everything including some important configurations like recovery partitions and important drivers. Or probably refreshing Windows by removing all programs.

I've searched everywhere but came up with no good solution.

Is there anything that I can do to fix such a broken Windows installation?

Below is my current configuration of my laptop.

    Technical Specs:

    • Dell Inspiron 13-7368 (2016)
    • Intel Core i7-6500U
    • 12GB RAM
    • Samsung 860 EVO M.2 SATA Internal SSD 1TB
    • Windows 10 build 1909

    :)

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

  3. New FF - passwords

    Hi:

If that setting is already enabled, then I suggest as the next troubleshooting step might be Mozilla Safe Mode (not to be confused with Windows Safe Mode)):

Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode | Firefox Help

    • Please report back and let us know the outcome, as it will dictate the next steps.
    • Also: please tell us what AV/AM/firewall programs are you running on this system?

    Thanks,
    MM

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
