I messed up with my folder location

It's all started cause I want to relocate folder C:\Users\Asus\Documents to D:\
SO, I went to the Documents folder properties => location and changed it to D:\. I thought it would help, but instead, something horrible happened.
As far as I understand, this Folder wasn't a folder at all, but like link to another folder. Symlink as I googled, or whatever. Or It become it after I changed.

SO, know I have link on disk D: in C:\Users\Asus\ , and for some reason this link, or folder, have no any size on disk, but if I check the actual properties of this folder(or link) it will open properties of the original disk D. But when I am trying to open it, opens Disk D, but with the different path to it, and all things seems to be linked to original D, or smth.
I tried to change location for default, but this won't help. PC just froze and do nothing. Seems like when I am trying to do it in C:\Users\Asus\ to this folder, its automatically makes influence on original disk D. And yes, its no more named Documents, but DATA, but in path its D:\

This is confused, and my explanation is bad, but my mind also don't get what happened. Maybe I am not right at all.
It doesn't influence my C: disk, or etc, but it feels very weird.

Also, if I go for C:\Users and the go in Asus folder, there won't be any problems. Like this DATA link/folder disk never exist. But if I go C:\Users\Asus\ this will redirect me to my account folder I guess, with my name and surname where this fantom disk D: exist.

    :)

Vista Ultimate - 'User' Folder Location

    No tried that.

Can copy the entire folder to D; but Windows still points to C as the location. Can change personal folders location to a folder on D;, but this still leaves hidden files etc on C;. Thus meaning there are 2 Users folders. Have managed to change the Public folder location to D;, with some registry tweaks, but this doesnt seem to work for the entire folder.

    any more suggestions

Default Locations Two folders messed up

Here is how I did what the OP wants:

My C drive is on an ssd. Because I needed more space than the ssd offered, I wanted my four most important folders (Documents, Pictures, Music and Video) to be on the much bigger internal hard drive (Drive D). This involved manually making four (in my case) new (target) folders with the same names on that internal hard drive (D). (To do that, I opened Drive D and did Right Click > New.) Then, after a few more steps, Windows was configured to thereafter Redirect (the formal word/command) all save, open etc commands to those target folders rather than the default ones on the C drive. The step-by-step instructions are on the following Web site:

After the actions in the Web site have been followed, the following windows will appear when you press This PC or File Explorer:

Attachment 150088This shows View > Tiles. (You might need to scroll at the top of the window to select Tiles - Tiles is just my favourite).

But the Documents etc, are empty. That's OK. Redirection only operates on newly created files. Note the Web site gives instructions about about Moving (not copying) all your existing files to the new folders.

To test, create a dummy file and save it to Documents (navigate to Documents and note in passing that it is now filled with your existing files). Then press This PC or File Explorer (to open the same window in the attachments to this message). Confirm again that all your existing files and the dummy file are in Documents. As before, you see only one set of Documents etc. folders but they are actually on Drive D. Repeat for as many folders as you want. I redirected four in all. Simple.

All this is not as complex as looking at the instructions implies.
