Win 10 pro vs Win10 Enterprise drive mappings

    Hi

I have a win10 pro pc on our domain when i log in i do get all our drive mappings as per the GPO

however when logging in on my win 10 Enterprise pc with the same user account on the same domain no drive mappings are mapped.

This is not localized to my pc's as others on the network are experiencing the same scenario.

Is this a known windows issue or does it have to do with GPO not correctly set for win10 enterprise.

there were no such issues with win7 pro and enterprise on our domain network.

    :)

Mapping a drive to a shared directory

I am trying to map a drive on a WIN 10 Home to a shared folder on Win 10 Pro.

    Background:

    1. On the Win 10 Pro machine the directory is shared and the permissions are set to everyone

    2. When I attempt to map the drive I get \\Desktop-xxx\c You do not have permissions ...

    3. I can do a remote desktop connection from the Win10 Home to the Win10 Pro machine

I have tried other devices to map to the Win 10 Pro machine with no success.

I have been searching for a solution for the past couple of hours

GPO Mapped network Drives mapping in Win 10 but not Win 7

I have a medium sized network running. We are currently migrating and updating our shared folder systems. The old system is running Win 2k8 R2 and still has the old mapped drives running what we haven't migrated. The new shared folders are on a new server Win 2012 R2 with a different folder structure and everything. Half the computers in the building run Win 7 Pro and the other half Win 10 Pro. Here is my issue. On every single Win 10 computer every drive maps and can be accessed normally, however the new shared drive DOES NOT map to any Win 7 machine. I created a Hyper V win 7 machine and on my Win 10 machine I have all my folders however when I log into that Win 7 machine only the home drives(located on the new share server) and the old shared drives seem to map. I have switched the Drive Maps to Update Create Replace, I have checked all permissions even though it seems not permission related as I can get to it on any win 10 machine. Any advice?*Mad*Mad*Mad*Mad*Mad*Mad*Mad
