Windows 10: can't update Windows 10 1803 to 1909

As the title said, I recently got a notification about updating my Windows 10 to the latest May version.

I never had trouble with updating my Windows, but now when the configuration finishes and the installation page shows, my computer shuts itself down at around 3% or less.

I don't really know why it turns itself off, cause there's nothing to harm the pc or hardware, I mean...it's not even overheating, I made sure the temperature was fine for this, but it still shuts down automatically.

Also, it made my current version of Windows gets corrupted.

All of these are just icons they don't open, considering Microsoft Store that doesn't work anymore.

I can't even reinstall the current version Windows that I'm using.

I'm sure that this problem might be my registry issues by failure in update, and as the issue is from my registry I'm fine with it, honestly.


Some information that I can give you:

1- I can't update my graphic drivers, because it doesn't install completely (neither from Device manger nor AMD installer) and makes my computer overheats and again shuts down.

2- I haven't cleaned my laptop for 5 years. (I'm planing to do so)

3- My CPU is fine, but sometimes overheats that even my cooling pad can't cool it down, and again shuts down.


My actual problem is that I can't install my latest version of Windows 10


I'll appreciate if you can help me with this.

Windows 10 update 1909

No you do not need to update to 1809 - 1903 if you are currently on version 1803, then version 1909 will appear in the list of updates and will automatically be installed on your PC since 1803 has run out of support

You do not need to do anything, 1909 is currently spreading around the world, just give it time to appear in the list of pending updates . . .

Hey,

I've just clean installed windows 10. It is build 1803.

Today awesome 1909 have launched. I want to update to 1909 but in settings it is showing me option to upgrade to 1809. My friend told me I have to upgrade to 1809, then 1903 and then finally 1909.

I want to directly upgrade to 1909 without going through intermediate steps. How can I do this?
