Windows 10: Auto Dark Mode through logging Night Light activity?

I'm looking at scheduling auto dark mode with task scheduler. I have night light automated. In task scheduler you can have a trigger "when an event is logged" is there a way I can have windows recognise that night light is enabled? I know I can schedule it to a time, but I live so far south in NZ that daylight varies hugely! Does anyone know what log I should be looking for? Cheers!

How to auto-set Application Mode (dark-light)?

Hi,

The option of switch between light mode and dark mode for most applications is really helpful for daytime or night-time working environment.

Is there a way to set the light mode to automatically switch to dark mode when night comes, and vise-versa?

Can any registry value tell it to change automatically
at specific hours I choose?

If it is possible, a tougher question will come - can I do it on my mobile phone as well?

How do you keep "lights on" in dark mode?

"Dark mode" refers to the Mail app's dark mode, common to Windows apps. Affects the color of the message list, menu bar, etc.

"Lights on" or "lights off" refers to the reading pane's background color, a feature recently added to Mail.

I'm asking if there's a way to set "lights on" to default, even if the Mail app is set to dark mode.

 

Can't find night light mode in display.


Hey guys,

I just got this HP windows 10 laptop, and I tried to enable the night light function to help filter the blue light to protect my eyes from getting sore. I followed every steps online, "setting-display-night light mode"..but I reached to the "customize your display" instead of "display", and there's no such a thing called "night light"(pic shown as below). I would appreciate if you can help me with this problem, bring me back to the normal display setting to get my favourite night light turned on. Thank you!
