How do i change the background of Lock Screen to solid color?


Reminder, i am NOT referring to the login screen. There is a regedit i have tried that people suggest, creating DWORD 'DisabledLogonBackground', and changed it to "1". Then go to Colors in settings and choosing accent color. This DOES NOT work, this changes the background color of the Login Screen.


I see questions just like mine and all of Windows Employees and Independent Contractors are getting confused and giving us directions to change the Login Screen background.

To change the desktop background into a solid color, see the steps below:

• Right-click on the desktop, and select Personalize.
• Under Personalization, select Background.
• On the right pane, click on the drop-down menu for Background, and then select
  Solid color.
• Choose your preferred color and it should immediately make changes.

We suggest that you set the solid color first, and then change it back to the wallpaper image of your choice. Whatever solid color you choose will stay as is even after you've changed the background image to your preference.
