Upgrade to 1909 that completed 11/15/2019 shows Installed on date of 7/4/2019

My Surface 3 just completed the upgrade to 1909 (Windows 10 (64-bit) Home), but shows an Installed on 7/4/2019 date for OS build 18363.476. This tablet is just used for ordinary browser and has been kept up to date with the regular patches from Microsoft. (The computer's date and time are set correctly, just to be clear, in case someone thinks that is the reason.) I find it unusual that the Windows Specifications under About show a July 4 date, a date that is in the past, by months. Has anyone else experienced this?

    :)

    Office 2019

Only supported on Win10. Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go.

Microsoft Office 2019 will only work on Windows 10

    Spoiler Office 2019
Last year at Ignite, we announced Office 2019 – the next perpetual version of Office that includes apps (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Skype for Business) and servers (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business). Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

    • Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
    • Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
      • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
      • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
      • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
    • The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.

Feature update to Windows 10, version 1909 Failed to install on 11/13/2019 – 0x60244022

Just did an update and at the end, found these messages:

Feature update to Windows 10, version 1909(2)

    Successfully installed 11/13/2019

Feature update to Windows 10, version 1909

    Failed to install on 11/13/2019 – 0x60244022

So is the "fail" message number (0x60244022} a part of the update or just a code number for the failure of my first attempt? It is a bit confusing to me. I mean why does a failure need a number?

    Windows 10 --18362.418 2019-10 Optional Cumulative update

If the second 2019-10 Cumulative was relative, then it would not have been marked optional.

As of Tuesday Windows Update checked and reported up to date.

Today 11/14 Windows Updates Check found two--the 2019-11 Cumulative and the MST Virus for November.

The 2019-11 Cumulative shows it replaced the previously Optional Cumulative from 2019-10

So my question about whether the optional would get installed, when the new Cumulative update showed up was answered.

And I now know that should I Pause updates when an optional update shows, Resuming will install the Optional update, then the new update shows up that replaces the optional one.

Also in the MUC I see two updates for the next version 1909 along with the two updates for 18362.418

The new version has not showed up on my notebook. And I do get the separate Upgrade Module in Windows Update when Feature Upgrades are ready.

I started getting the ISO with Media Creation Tool and putting it on a Flash Drive. This worked much better than installing with Windows Update. And much less time.
