Windows 10: Minesweeper won't sign into XBL

Discus and support Minesweeper won't sign into XBL in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; Hi. I had to reinstall Windows 10 on my laptop, and then reinstall all my apps.     Minesweeper won't sign into XBL


    Hi.

    I had to reinstall Windows 10 on my laptop, and then reinstall all my apps.

    Now Minesweeper won't sign me in. I just a get a message in the top right corner, where the account profile should be.

    The message says to sign into Xbox Live and relaunch Minesweeper.

    I have tried this several times. I have restarted the laptop several times.

    Everything else signs in OK: Office is ok, Solitaire collection is ok, Minecraft is ok. It is Just Minesweeper.

    Is there anything else I can try.

    Just to recap, it is a fresh install of Minesweeper.

    The only thing that I can think might possibly be causing the problem is that I changed my Xbox/MS password before reinstalling Windows, but surely that would affect the other apps?

    OK why has US got XBL Sudoku and Minesweeper free! when UK hasn't??

    Minesweeper won't sign into XBL

    Microsoft Solitaire Collection can't sign into XBL

    I've run into a rather nasty issue where Microsoft Solitaire Collection on Windows 10 just won't sign into XBL.

    The game loads but there's an "Offline" icon above my gamertag. Clicking on my gamertag does nothing.

    Also, when I click on a game to play, I get "Signing in. Please wait" with spinning dots. I can leave it for hours at a time with no change. If I click Cancel, the game will load but the "Offline" icon will appear next to the fullscreen button. Once again,
    clicking on this icon does nothing.

    Here's what I've tried so far. Nothing in this list has managed to solve my problem.

    1. Uninstalled and reinstalled Solitaire.

    2. Signed out and back in on the Xbox app.

    3. Rebooted my system.

    4. Tried signing in using an alternate XBL account.

    5. Ran sfc /scannow from an admin command prompt. Corrupted files were found and repaired.

    This issue started on 29/08 and has been bugging me ever since.
