    A few weeks ago I decided to make the new Chromium-based version of Edge my primary browser and haven't looked back. All has so far been very smooth sailing except for one thing: watching TV shows on Netflix is unreliable. When an episode ends, the next episode will often simply fail to start and I end up having to manually select the next episode from the episode list. I've never experienced this problem before in Google Chrome, but it happens in every Chromium-based Edge channel I've used. I'm just wondering if anyone has a workaround as I'd really prefer to watch Netflix in 1080p (which Edge supports) rather than 720p (which is the max resolution that Chrome supports for Netflix).

    Bonus question: how can I easily import my Google Chrome store Edge extensions from one channel to another? Unfortunately, Edge's Sync feature doesn't import Chrome Store extensions and I use many of them, forcing me to manually reinstall and customize everything.

    Thank you for posting your query on the Microsoft Communities.

    1. Are you facing this video using issue only when using Microsoft Edge?

    2. Have you tested the issue using Internet Explorer?

    3. How have you tried troubleshooting Netflix?

    As the initial troubleshooting steps, I would suggest you to check all the available Windows Updates. Installation of recent Windows Updates should fix the issue.

    Please check your Windows updates (including optional updates).

    • At the Start screen, type Windows Update.
    • Select Check for Update.
    • Download and Install the latest Windows Updates.

    If the issue still persists, then try updating the Display driver and check. Here is the steps:


    • Press Windows Key + R on your desktop screen to go to run command box.

    • Type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.

    • In Display Adapter, expand Display Adapter, right-click , and then click
      Update.

    Cannot uninstall Chromium browser at all on Windows 10.

    followed the steps you have posted here and was doin' great until the very last step. opened my C: drive but no Chromium folder listed. any other suggestions? really want Chromium off my system as it's a pain in the butt!!!!

    There could be a number of factors as to why you are having issues launching the Netflix app. This could be caused by a software conflict or due to an issue with the application itself.

    I suggest that you reset your Netflix application by following the steps provided below:

    • Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
    • Click the Netflix app from the list and then choose Advanced options.
    • Click Reset.

    If the issue persists, you can consider uninstalling and reinstalling the device. To uninstall, follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
    • Click the Netflix app from the list and then choose Uninstall.
