    Unable to access Microsoft Photos

Hi, we have kept all our photos within the Microsoft Photos app. In the last couple of weeks I have become unable to open any photos on my computer and upon looking into it the Photos app is displaying a green leaf and is suspended. Can anyone please explain how to stop this so I can see and access my photos again?????

Alternatively, can anyone suggest where the photos might be stored so I can get them off the device?

    Thanks so much!!

    :)
