WHAT'S NEW

We’ve brought the rich entry task bar to iOS. Now you can set due dates, reminders and add a task to My Day all while creating a task.

If that still sounds like too much extra work, then try typing “remind me today at 8:00” into the task name and watch the magic happen. That’s right, natural language processing has come to iOS.

We made some color improvements to our sidebar when you’re in dark mode.

We updated some of our illustrations.

We fixed some crashes and squashed some bugs.

WHAT'S NEW

We made a few small visual changes to the Mac app in this update:

If you don’t have a profile picture set up, then we’ll show your initials now rather than a little blue head.

We’ve updated some of our illustrations.

Now if you change your theme, you’ll see a popover open rather than a menu.

We’ve added keyboard support for selecting an assignee in a shared list. Hit the spacebar and get assigning.

Fixed: Sometimes the cursor would randomly move around when you tried to write a note. We’ve stopped it from doing its little dance now.

Fixed: We made lots of accessibility improvements including an issue where a newly created list group was not accessible using the keyboard.

We now follow the system settings for dark mode so if you’re phone is set to dark mode then To Do automatically follows suit.

You can now choose what account you want your task to go to in the New Task extension.

We brought a little color back into our widget icons.

We added a count to our sections in the Planned list so if you have them all collapsed, you can still see how many tasks are due.

We made a lot of accessibility fixes.

We’ve turned off the lights! Set your iOS or iPadOS 13 system settings to dark mode and watch To Do embrace the dark side.

You can now drag a URL onto a task on iPad from any other app to add it to a note. Drag it to the task list to create a task out of the note.

If you’re on iOS or iPadOS 13 you’ll now see a preview card for URLs or be able to watch a video within To Do.

We made some iOS 13 fixes.

Coming from Wunderlist? You can now import your files across to To Do using our importer, except for Dropbox files.

If you view your tasks in Russian then you’ll be pleased to know that we fixed the layout in Preferences.

We were showing the context menu when you right-clicked on a list header, but we’ve disabled that now. Right-click on a task and you’ll see all your task options still.

If you created a group via the context menu it would sometimes disappear to the bottom of the list menu and you wouldn’t notice that it had been created. Now we’ll scroll straight to the list group so you can start adding your lists.

We fixed a display issue in suggestions for right-to-left languages..

If you use Intune then you may have been experiencing crashes on To Do. We’ve fixed that now so the two will work well together again.

If you were editing a list and then navigated away from the list the wrong list title would be edited... which was just confusing, so we fixed it.

(Mac)
Bringing your Wunderlist account over is a breeze with our new in-app importer. Just head to Help, select Import from Wunderlist, follow the prompts and we’ll do all the heavy lifting.

You may have noticed some extra lines around your tasks when increase contrast is enabled. We’ve tidied up and gotten rid of those unnecessary borders.

Depending on your device, you might have experienced the app flickering when switching lists. Sorry for the strobe -- that glitch is now fixed.
