Windows 10: Cortana On Windows 10 Phone No Longer Sets Reminders By Voice

I am on a Windows 10 Phone. I noticed today (11/18/2019) I can no longer set reminders in Cortana using a voice command.


For example: "Remind me to call Barb tomorrow at 9:00 AM", when spoken opens a Bing search for Windows reminders, rather than scheduling my reminder.


I think Microsoft pushed a Windows 10 phone OS upgrade last week, so that may be the source of the issue.

Cannot reactivate Completed Cortana Reminders in Windows 10

Cortana is your digital agent that will help you doing your daily tasks. To sort out your concern, we suggest that you follow these steps on how to manage
Cortana Reminders:

• Open Cortana, then click the hamburger button and select
  Reminders on your phone or click Notebook and select
  Reminders on your Windows 10 PC.
• You'll find all your reminders sorted by date, click on it and modify according to your preference.

Cortana reminders in calendar on phone, but not PC?


I have a PC and a Phone both with the latest build of Windows 10 (Stable, not insider) and all of the apps are up to date (updated yesterday to most up to date versions).

If I set up a time\date based reminder using Cortana on my phone it appears as an entry in my calendar on my phone, but it does not appear in the calendar on my PC.

I'm logged in using the same Microsoft account, and and calendar entry that I set up directly in the calendar syncs perfectly (both ways). The problem seems to be limited to reminders set up in Cortana.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

 

Cortana - voice reminders

just started exploring cortana. have used it to set up reminders and that is all good, but when I go into the cortananote section to see the reminders/to do none of them are there. where are they?

also does this syncs with one note and outlook? last thing I want is to do lists and reminders in dozens of different places. ..
