Discus and support Windows 10 version 1903 dwm.exe high CPU issue in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; This is my Windows version.     I constantly have dwm.exe high CPU issue. Below snapshots are from Process Explorer.

    By checking the property of this process in process explorer, I could see the top thread is always dwmcore.dll!MilConnection_CreateChannel+0x1260.

    Reboot helps. But the issue comes again later at a random time. Could anyone help point me in the right direction? Thanks.

    Win1903 - RDP Issue on VMWare -with High Cpu

    Please try this fix:

    gpedit.msc

    Computer -> Windows Components -> Remote Desktop Service -> Remote Desktop Session Host -> Remote Session Environment -> Use WDDM Display Driver for Remote Desktop Connections --->> change this to disabled & reboot

    What happens is if you RDP to Windows 10 1903, then disconnect your session, the VM will freeze. If you change the WDDM driver to disabled, which apparently new to 1903, it forces the XDDM driver instead and this solved it on at least half a dozen VMs that
    I saw this issue with.

    The issue is easily reproduced by RDP, disconnect with x (not log out) then try to go into VM console and it is locked up. Not sure if this is a VMware Tools issue or not, we're using 11.0 and vSphere 6.5
