Windows 10: the brightness of video files is wrong.

I've upgraded my graphics card from gtx 750ti to gtx 1050ti but during the process .mp4 and .mov got a very dark brightness to it. Already updated my graphic drivers, but nothing changed. As far as i know it isnt the files themselves because I opened .mp4 that weren't problematic before. Furthermore trying to search for my problem on the internet only gives me video editor tools with guides to change the brightness of videos, something that i don't want.

Have tried few steps from youtube videos but did not work.

Please guide.

Hi Ella,

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.

Some computers can let Windows automatically adjust screen brightness based on the current lighting conditions.

To manually adjust the screen brightness, we suggest following these troubleshooting steps:

• Click Start, then select Settings.
• Choose System, then select Display.
• Under Brightness and color, move the Change brightness slider to adjust the brightness.
