    Windows 10, Error 1935; Fix with RegistrySizeLimit - but key is missing in registry.


    Windows 10, Error 1935 during application installations, Fixes refere to RegistrySizeLimit in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control,
    - but RegistrySizeLimit key does not exist in the registry !

    ms visual c++ 2005 problem

    last night i had a problem with ms visual it was error 1935 so i followed this steps:

    • In Windows, click Start > Run...
    • In the Run window, type 'regedit'. In the Registry Editor window, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control.
    • In the 'Registry Editor' dialog box, double-click on 'RegistrySizeLimit'. This opens the 'Edit DWORD Value' dialog box.
    • In the 'Edit DWORD Value' dialog box, enter ffffffff as the 'Hexadecimal' value. Click on the 'Decimal' radio button, and enter 4294967295 as the 'Decimal' value. Click OK.
    • Reboot the machine.
    • Log in as an Administrator and open a Command Prompt and run 'SFC /SCANNOW'.
    ...BUT step 3 is unclear for me ... i can find registrySizeLimit.

    Yes I am new to Windows 10.

    When I tried to install my old Office 2003 in Windows 10, I get the Error 1935. I don't really see a simple way to fix this problem.

    Does anyone have a simple way to fix Error 1935?

    I also need to know how to get Shield for Defender to show on my Taskbar.
