I have recently been experiencing brief black screen (~1-2s) flashes and sudden restarts after logging into windows. I noticed that audio and everything on the screen stutters around the black screen flashes. Safe mode and the login screen run fine. I used windows update and nvidia geforce experience to upgrade to the latest updates and graphics drivers. I did notice that in the task manager resource monitor the GPU usage was maxing to 100% around the time of restarts and black screens.

In the event viewer, the 6008 errors are: "The previous system shutdown at 4:47:11 PM on ‎11/‎20/‎2019 was unexpected."

Please advise on how to solve this problem. Thank you.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
