Windows 10: Can't update two of my 4 windows 10 computers. Can I just get a full version and install...

I'm not hopeful as I don't see any replies here to any questions. Aren't there any knowledgeable people on this forum?


I can't update two of my 4 windows 10 computers (many, many tries). Can I just get a full version and install over the old ones?

I have one with 1607 and another with 1803. I've removed programs and antivirus and suffered through what seems like hours of it working through the upgrades only to have it all "Uninstalling" when the wait is over.


If I had just bought these computers and wanted to install windows 10, I'm guessing I would get a complete copy of the latest version and install it 'fresh" like on a new computer. Maybe then it would install. Why isn't that a possibility? Why do you have to be an experienced software trouble shooter to get an upgrade installed. That never happens with Mac. It just works!


How can I get past these two non upgradeable versions of Windows 10?

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
